Hey guys,
I just got my 2.0 running and i have noticed that after maybe 5 minutes the
idle goes to crap . I have tested the o2 sensor and it isn't putting out a
signal. What's weird is it idles great for the first little bit then
deteriorates, I'm think when the ECU switches from open or closed loop it stops
running off the ECU default. Does this sound possible? Also the throttle
response is really bad and I have to advance the daylights out of the timing.
Is it possible the intercam timing is off? it looks good and the head was just
completely rebuilt by European Motor Works, but I installed the cams(stock
ones). I also don't have the block breather hose on yet or the small hoses
connected to the breather hose or the airbox. Please make some suggestions for
the poor throttle response, it really concerns me.
