James, Thanks for that idea of the correction box. I think it would work fine, although I just ripped out my two piece cable in favor of a one piece, no mileage counter, setup. Eh its alright. I'll figure something out....
Shipping would have been about $50 for the 4 rims and some worn mismatched random tires (from South Carolina to North Jersey). I am giving the seller about $25 to have the tires taken off, and for packing supplies for just the four rims. Then I am sending down a UPS Call Tag to have the rims picked up up in South Carolina, at my expense. All in all, the total shipping/dismounting should be just under $50 or so. Only benefit to the whole call tag thing is that I have an account with UPS and can pay them thru there. =) Denis G. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Blumenfeld" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, August 06, 2001 10:08 PM Subject: Re: A2_16v V1 #3067 > Denis, > You could probably figure out your correction > factor (indicated mph or odometer miles divided by > actual (or vice-versa)) and find a correction box that > would go in place of the counter box in the speedo > cable.
