Well, I took my rear motor mount off today to put the poly insert I have
here into it and I can see why the motor was jumping around... The center of
the rubber mount was sheared clean off of the outside. Pulled the one off of
my Golf and put it into the GTI. WOW, what a difference. I haven't got on it
yet, but just from driving a mile down the road and back it's way different.
Shakes the crap outta the car but there is NO movement anywhere now. I
wouldn't recommend it if you like things smooth. I can feel the motor
vibration at any rpm (so far it's only been to about 4000, but I'll see what
it does after I take a cruise tonight) through the seat and pedals. Shifts
are sooo smooth too. If you don't mind vibration, it's the way to go.

Anyways, talk is cheap, I'm goin for a drive :D
