I haven't had this problem with an A2, but on A1s, water would get down into
the back of the fuse & relay panel; the tilt of the relays would allow some,
including the wipers, to collect water, shutting things down. Quick trick:
remove the cover; water can't accumulate! Tie a plastic bag over top of
relay panel as an umbrella may help; but you need to find out where it's
coming in. On a couple of my cars, it was the "floor" of the cowl area
beneath the wiper motor; I eventually slathered it with RTV as a sealant
after cleaning as best I could; solved it. One leaked in around the fresh
air intake in the cowl whenever the drains ("duckbill valves") clogged, and
water would follow a fresh air duct before draining out onto wiring. HTH.

Has anyone had a problem with their wipers where they don't work when it
rains? I figure is has to be something electrical, but not sure what could
be getting wet to shut them down. Everything else works fine in the rain.
after the car dries out they work again. Rain is coming this evening so any
help appreciated.

Thanks

Chris
