Never had any problems with mine while auto-xing or hard street driving.
Check your fluid level and hoses first, I know when mine were stock they had
a tendency to crimp in the area coming out of the front of the resevoir,
which starves the pump.

If you find out your pump is bad, I have an extra sitting here that I know
is good.
