The cruise in my 1990 Jetta refuses to work any longer... I'm not about to pay big bucks to fix it, but if I can figure out the problem myself, it'd be worth it -- I barely ever use it, but I just drove from Halifax to Ottawa and back over two days (nearly 3200km total) and the cruise would have been nice... :)
Are there some things I should check that commonly break on the cruise control? I've been having a lot of problems with fuses blowning on me lately -- power mirrors seem to kill a fuse the first time I hit the switch to move them... and I was having problems with the horn fuse for a bit too until I replaced the horns (they were shorting out) -- but no others seem to be broken... The fuses in my car don't seem to completely match up to either the owner's manual or the guide on the fuse box cover with respect to what devices are hooked up to what fuse... argh.
