Anybody on the list had experiece passing smog in California with their 1.8 16V's after installing Shrick 260/276 combo, Port and Polish Head, 50mm Intake Manifold, Brospeed Header (or similar), Stock Cat / 02 Sensor / CIS-E, and performance exhaust? I just got my car back after an engine/head rebuild and my mechanic did a pre smog sniff test which passed at 2500 rpm but failed at idle. He says the 02 sensor may be bad since the mixture is "hunting" back and forth at idle so I am planning on replacing it this week. Nevertheless, I was wondering if anybody out there with a similar car set up might have experience or tips on setting the mixture, idle, etc... to optimize my chances of passing?
