Preston, No I have not tried the motor oil saver, but have tried many other Lubro-Moly product and found them to be of good quality. I running their 5w-40 synthetic in my 1.8T and use their tacky lube, anti-seize, auto electric spray, and zinc spray. If the products I have used are a reflection on the rest I would say go for it if you like. If you are already using a quality synthetic oil, I am not sure if it is necessary though.
