Thanks for the reply. I thought the same thing, but you never know with a VW. I'll check the grounds on the alternator and battery, thanks. What about the power loss to the engine? Everything I check leads back to the outer fuel pump. I haven't done a volume test on the pump because I cant find the relay on the fuse box. The relay the Bentley says is for the pump is to the starter, unless I'm touching the wrong contacts. Could my loss of power/bucking be anything else?
