I recently snapped an alternator belt on my (A/C equipped) car. It
happened more or less immediately after turning on my A/C. I nursed the
car to a meinike near my house to have them swap belts for me, as I don't
have time to do it myself right now. They just called and said that the
inner waterpump pulley is wobbling relative to the outer one, or something
like that. What gives? Could this cause the alternator belt to snap? It
doesn't even connect to the alternator. I'm going down in the morning to
check it out...
