Hey all. I got curious this weekend about the pass seat in my car. It's
one of those nice recaros with the big bolsters and power height adjustment.
The weird thing about the pass seat is that it leans inboard quite a bit. I
removed the seat from the car and didn't see anything wrong with the tracks.
I then removed the frame/base from the seat.

The seat is nice and square but the frame is funny. The little "trailing
arms" that go to the tracks are not at the same height, in fact the left
side is about an inch lower than the right. They're attached to a tube that
rotates to effect the height adjustment and I'm wondering if the tube is
actually 2 or 3 pieces that might be splined together and possibly assembled
wrong. The welds look fine and I don't see any obvious damage. All the
little plastic glides are intact too. I didn't want to try disassembling
the arms since there's these torsion springs that I might not be able to
reattach.

Has anyone ever seen this before? I'm open to suggestions.
