Tony,

If you want something that sticks very well but also will let you remove
the vapor barrier in the future go to Sears Hardware or another hardware store
and get 3M carpet tape. This is a double sided tape used to tape down
outdoor carpet (moisture proof).

This stuff holds the plastic like all get-out but allows you to pull the
plastic back off
without ripping the plastic (if you use heavy enough plastic).
