I have had the (cheap - 2 resonator) TechTonics 2 1/4 exhaust on my car for a bout a year and while I do like it at times it is a bit loud. Last week I put on a Supertrapp 4" disc adapter which seems to quite it down a bit. This is basically a flange with 12 supertrapp discs that mounts on the end. It also allows for some tuning of the power band and on those track days that have strict noise restrictions I can pull off some discs and quiet it down some more. This is also a look that is completely opposite the big tail pipe trend; there is no exposed hole! Probably makes the bikers grin though. I also had some problems with the end of the center pipe (by the hanger) rubbing against the side of the center tunnel. I fixed this by using a common American style ehaust hanger that looks like a 1.25" wide belt to pull the U bolt hanger off to the drivers side. Lets see how long it lasts.
