Unlike A1 components, Big Bumpers and flares for the A2 always seem to
remain expensive and never seem to diminish in price.

1. I would try Rocky Mountain Motorworks at www.motorworks.com to establish
pricing. They sell all new parts and are often reasonable compared to dealer
pricing.
2. I would also try German Parts Warehaus at www.germanpartshaus.com
formerly "Bugworld" for used parts.
3. FAST is a VW specific salvage yard and supplies the parts for Les
Bidrawn's project A2 16V currently in European Car. Many tell me they are
expensive but I always seem to get good pricing from them. (Maybe because I
mentioned the EC articles?)

Hope that helps

Subject: [A2-16v] A2 Big Bumper Fender Flares

Just putting word out to you all that im looking for fender flares for a '91
GLi. I need the front drivers side and possibly the rear drivers side
flares. They needs to be for the A2's with the big bumpers. ('90-'92 i
think)

Anyone have some spares of these? Or can you put me in the right direction
to find some used? I tried the VW dealership in my town but they want $80
for the back flare and $65 for the front flare. That seems pretty steep for
some pieces of plastic. if anyone has some used, i would like to buy them.
Please let me know if you do and how much.

email me at [email protected]

Thanks,
    -Adam
