1.8l 16v engine euro spec = 139hp.
1.8l 16v engine US spec = 123hp.

Differences between the two:
#1  Hotter intake cam
#2  Long tuned euro downpipe (no cat)
#3  50mm intake manifold

These three things contributed to the additional 16hp.
 The cam is good for 7hp, the intake is probably worth
another 5-7hp.  I've dynoed the euro downpipe vs,
header, vs US downpipe and cat vs US downpipe and
hollow cat.  They were all about equal, with the euro
downpipe having a low end torque advantage.

The 50mm intakes are floating out there used for $300
including shipping.  Worth it?  Not sure.

It'd be nice to have some 42mm vs 50mm dyno figures
tho...
