My friend is off in upstate NY and is having problems with his GLI overheating. The fan is working, but the car's temp just climbs and climbs and climbs. Coolant level is fine, but he smells coolant when he gets out.
Any idea what it might be? Stuck t-stat? Bad water pump? -Pat
