I was on my way home from a friends house today and my card decided it was
going to take a break on the side of the highway.
I tried starting it over and over and it didn't catch.
I started playing with some wires near the coil and i managed to get it
started for about 20 seconds, then stalled again.
I gave it a few more attempts and it didn't want to start, so I called CAA
for a tow, and informed them I needed a flatbed otherwise the tow truck
would cause damage to my vehicle (last time they ripped the front bumper
clean off).

As I sat in the scorching heat I began to diagnose the problem in my head...
    -The starter worked
    -Engine temps didn't exceed 50%
-I replaced the transfer pump 2 months ago
-symptoms resemble when the ground wire on the coil pack harness went
and there was no spark.

So I found a test wire with an aligator clip and be can to remove the shrink
wrap on that ground wire, I clipped the test wire to it and ran it to the
neg terminal on the battery. The car didn't start the first time but it
started on the 3rd time and made it home safely.
