I installed the rear shine springs/shocks in my jetta tonight (replaced the front struts/springs last week). The springs had .25" - .5" of slack when the upper spring perch was tightened, so I moved the height adjustment on the bilstein hd to the top. This took care of the slack. Did you guys with shine springs notice the rear springs were a bit short? When I asked last week about what height to use Eli at shine said they use the spring perch height as they come from bilstein (in the middle as mine were I assume).
Anyway, I drove it around a bit and like the firm feel of the suspension. I still haven't installed the rear bar so maybe I'll get that done this weekend. Chad
