Is this the passenger side rear mount? I had the Vibratechnics front and
drivers side rear mounts in my '92 GTI 16V for a while, and they worked
(work) great. Then, I installed the Vibratechnics passenger side rear mount
with the race compound insert (the front mount has the race insert and I'm
not sure about the drivers side rear). With the first two installed, you
could barely feel any added vibration or noise, but when I put the VT
passenger side rear mount in, there is now a lot of vibration at idle that
causes everything in the passenger compartment to buzz. The whole drive
train feels like it's welded into the chassis, and the car feels very solid,
with zero drive train slop, which is good. I want to try the street-sport
insert in the passenger side rear mount, but I won't do business with the
only place I know to get the inserts. Anyone know of a source for
Vibratechnics stuff other than ND?
