absolutely, I ran a set of Scirocco seats in my 85 Golf without any mods to the rails or adjusters. You may have to take the seat belt recepticles from your original seats and install them on the Scirocco seats. You will get some nice height adjustment as well as forward/backward adjustment. And the bolsters on the Scirocco seats were far better than my original Golf seats.
