Hi Chad,

It could be that you need to remove your tail-lights and then inspect or
replace the gaskets. As a rule I always use Silicone sealant on the gaskets
when replacing the tail-lights to make an extra water tight seal. Then
again I have Amps in my trunk and cannot afford to have condensation forming
on any of the circuitry.

Sincerely,

Ryan Lewis

Subject: [a2-16v-list] water in trunk of gli

When it rains fairly heavily I find a little bit of water in my trunk (90
gli) on the leftmost and rightmost edges. Not on the carpet, but on the
pastic that lines the wheel wells. The water is always in a little puddle
right behind the wheel wells. It isn't obvious where it is leaking in
from. Could this be the rear window seal? Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks -
Chad
