Greg,

Be careful. The backer is pretty fragile (brittle). When I took
mine out of my jetta I put the front seats all the way forward
and the seat backs tilted forward. I then got it out one of the
back doors. It was in sorry shape, cracked and corners broken,
so I was not overly careful. I would like to hear if someone has
a better way of getting it in/out of a jetta.

I just picked up a black headliner from a guy parting a jetta
out. It is replacing the stock gray one. I got all the black
trim pieces with it sunroof cover, sun visors, and sunroof trim.
I did not get the plugs that hold up the middle form the guy. I
hope the dealer can get them and the sunroof crank, the other
piece I am missing. I think the black will look better than the
stock gray one.

I need to still install it so if some else has a better way of
getting one in a jetta please let me know.

Regards,
Jesse
