Only the 1.7 engines are VW and even then the head and spark are non VW.
Most of the fast ones are Chrystler 2.2s. The econo-box concept is rabbit
like but none of the hardware is actual VW.

Bought a wreck to get that big displacement for my 78 Scirocco, was kinda
dissapointed.
