The only problem with dropping the bolts in from the top is that you have to 
drop the rear beam out of it's shackles.  And again, I'm not sold on that 
design.  The only benefit that I can see over the under-the-axle style bars is 
improved ground clearance.  And before anyone goes and gives me a bunch of 
crap, yes, I have driven cars with both designs.
