There is also an air-oil cooler kit available using the European GTi Filter
Mount. It looks like Autotech carries one of these, but I'm sure if you look
around you could find a similar setup elsewhere for less. I got one similar
to this used and am planning to install it before it starts getting warm
this summer.

Actually I cut/paste the link before I read it through. I've heard of the
dieselgeek air to oil cooler, but this one sounds like a water to oil
cooler
replacement for the factory cooler.
I am looking for an air to oil cooler as can be found at bsi,
http://www.bsiracing.com/vw-specials.asp.
That dieselgeek water/oil cooler doesn't seem as though it would be good
for track events.
