After my 2nd valve cover gasket, I'm looking for a better answer. The 2nd one, my shop even sold me some sealant stuff that you're supposed to use on it, but it's leaking again.
I'm getting tired of smelling burning oil when I turn on the vent. I think I've heard of people using RTV or some other make-a-gasket compound. Anyone done this and had any luck? Laters, Brian -- 1989 GLI Wolfsburg Ed.
