Hey Chris, I've bought the NGK BKR6E V-Power plugs (single electrode) for my 92 GLI and they have worked well so far. No comments yet on longevity yet as I've only had them in for a few thousand miles. I got them for about $1.70 each, IIRC. Pep Boys & Autozone near me didn't have them so I called other parts stores until I found a place that stocked them. Good luck!
