You could have a bad thermostat or the heater core could be blocked up.
It is very rare for the heater core to get blocked up.
If you just had the pump replaced it is possible that you have an air-lock
in the cooling system.

It really sounds as if you need new thermostat.  They're only $15.
Bring it back to the guy who fixed your car and ask him to replace it.

I have no heat either but I'm willing to bet I have a bad water pump or a
bad thermostat, or both.
