Clutch Masters Stage 3. About double the clamping force of the Sachs 16V plate (1700-1800 ibs.), about stock pedal pressure, Kevlar disk. I've been running one for 30+K, and no problems. I previously had two Neuspeed clutches fail in less then 5K each. Motor puts out around 175 at the flywheel.

Well,

It happened. The friend I sold my built GLI 16v to
had a pressure plate strap failure. The clutch was
warrantied by the shop, but next time he might not be
so lucky. Car has a 4k tranny in it.

What are you guys running instead of stock that can
handle the motor?
