Guys, I just saw an MKII in european car with white rubber around the windows. Do you think he got this from a rabbit aftermarket source and modified it for the MKII? Maybe some of these companies that produce aftermarket items for bugs and rabbits are moving into the A2 market now that VW scrapped all these parts?

They supposedly sent it all to the crusher. I've tried to get things like the rain drip tray that covers the wiper motor and ECU, the rubber seal that secures the tray, the luggage compartment cover, etc., with no success. I tried multiple dealers, Potter, and various other sources. The only hope we may have is finding a European source, or getting lucky and finding a dealer that still has what you need in stock. Any of you guys that don't live in a big metropolitan area should check with any dealers that are in small towns, and guys like Mark Reda in Canada should check with dealers up there.
