Greg,

During my experience with idle issues on my 16V (Motronic), it has either
turned out to be the throttle swich(s) on the throttle body or the wiring at
the
connector on the fuel distributor (dpr?). The wiring at the connector is in a
bad place as the A/C line on my car rests on it. Pull the boot back on the
connect and check it out. There may be a break in the wires (two). There is not
much worse than having an annoying idle. Mine is around 950rpm with a
Techtonics chip (programed by Garret Lim a long time ago).
