get a centerforce dual friction clutch.
They are about $250 or so and can really handle the HP from my 2.0l 16v.
Once the clutch is fully engaged, it never slips on me.
Careful on starts with those clutches though, i hear a lot of people ruin
their trannys from too many repeated hard starts from a standstill over a
few months. One guy I know of has had his tranny in his 16v gti replaced 3
times in 2 years because he loved to dump the clutch.

Subject: [a2-16v-list] Clutch

Hello guys,

Do anyone of you out there has a racing clutch disc willing to let go cheap?
I´ve been having big trouble with clutches lately, stock clutches can´t
handle acceleration in my car anymore, in the past 3 months this will be the
3rd clutch I will be needing to replace. I don´t do quarter mile racing or
anything related to that, just push the accelerator hard on the street.

If none of you out there has one, can you guide me where to get a disc at a
good price on the internet?

Thank you

Francesco.
