There is a test that I did awhile back. I don't remember if this came from the Bentley. When I built my 2l 8V, I took each injector and placed them in a jar. I then made a small jumper that I used to start the fuel pump in place of the relay. Then I could visually inspect each injector, their spray pattern, and the volume. The jars should fill equally and at the same rate. It became obvious visually which ones were bad and which ones were good.
