I was bored this past weekend and I was itching to make some progress on my
project Golf.

So I took out my tired and scuffed up taillights and decided to freshen them
up. I opted to change the orange turnsignal lenses to Audi Style red. I also
opted to keep the reverse lenses clear. So for a few bucks, I went to the model
shop and purchased some clear enamel, then finished off with automotive clear
coat before finally polishing. I am pleased with the results and it cost me
less than $10 for the materials and some elbow grease. It made an otherwise
boring weekend into one where I at least accomplished something on my project
car. And the lenses look brand new.
