They sell an A2 skid plate over at:

but for their price you could probably fabricate a pretty good one. Take a
look at their picture for a pretty good idea of how it would fasten up.

I'm considering using the GTI for rallycross. I can't do an all-out refit

buy another car. So I have to babystep my way and since it's already
dropped
1 1/2", step one is a skid plate. Has anyone fabricated one? Any ideas?
