Is it worth it to rebuild a shortblock 2.0 that I ran w/out oil? (had the oil changed @ JiffyLube 500miles after replacing the head gasket, the dude over-tightened the oil filter and crushed the gasket between the oil cooler and block. It let go after 20 min on the highway in pouring rain, oil pressure LED was out, hadn't installed the gauges yet so I pulled over when it started knocking) Anyway, I miss the extra torque (I have a 1.8 now) and it's sitting in my garage. I could use the 1.8 head and just rebuild the bottom. Good idea? Business is slow so, lot's of time/ not lots of $$$ Thanks Steve 1.8 then 2.0 now 1.8l '88 GTI
