There is a product line called VHB from 3M. This will almost certainly work
if the surface is properly cleaned and prepared. It is a very strong and
durable double sided adhesive tape. Make sure you get the trim lined up
properly when installing, once it goes on it stays on.

Hi,
Anyone know which adhesives would work to reattach VW door guards. These
are the long trim pieces that run the length of the door. They are falling
off two of my son's 98 Golf doors.
