Someone posted this on another email list and thought that some would like to catch up on it. There is not a lot of value but you can see the interest of tuners back then to seek the optimum set up for the 16V. "This article is from a November 2000 issue European Car. The article is comparing cam sets on the 16V motor. Yes it has been around before however; it may be new to a few folks."
