http://www.msruns.com/viewtopic.php?t=22406 Recently I added new knock sensors and a control unit so it was interesting to see how much knock there was using a mostly stock map. There are some pics of the maps in the link above. I plan to go to a dyno very soon to do some tuning of the ignition map... to bad its just a rolling dyno and not one where we can set the load and engine rpm steady. Can you all give me any advice about tuning on a dyno? this will be my first attempt so hopefully the guy operating the dyno is good at it. I've read just about everything I can find on the topic, but experience is surely better. Anyway, I just got my car prepared for a driver's school (bleeding the brakes, rotating tires, checking pressure, and removing all the stuff on the seats, loaded up with stuff for the even) planned for 7:30a Sunday I got the call at 11p tonight that it was cancelled due to bad weather on the way in. So I had to go abuse the car on some back roads since she was really looking forward to tomorrow.
