I think that you are just shopping in the wrong places. These things are very plentiful in DIY junkyards. (Your luck may vary however, I may have a warped view here in LA,CA). For what it is worth I use this same mount. And welded on it a bit to slightly alter the geometry. It'll probably last as long as the car.
