Josh, My brother picked up an R32 and is enjoying the hell out of it. He had the same impressions as you of the car and has offered me the keys on numerous ocassions. I've declined for fear I might get the urge to get one myself (Which is exactly what happened way back in 1984 when he offered me the keys to his then Scirocco)
He still hangs on to a small collection of Corrados & Mk1s (G60, SLC, Pickup & Jetta Coupe) I sold my own Jetta and VW Pickup a few years back after the neighbors complained of the expanding driveway at my house. Now I have a more "civilized" appearance with a single SUV but I've got the last two remaining VWs still hidden away in the garage. -Les -----Original Message----- >From: Josh <[email protected]> >Sent: Jul 10, 2010 9:50 PM >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [a2-16v-list] a2-16v list back online > > >Glad to see there are people out there still enjoying the 16v (and mk2). > >I sold my last one back in '06 when I picked up my R32.
