I know this isn't quite 16V mechanically oriented, but I thought I'd ask this knowledgeable group.
While restoring my MKII, I'm already aware that much of the rubber seals have been discontinued by the dealer. I've been able to find most of the seals in salvage yards that I can scavenge. However, I need to replace the rain gutters on my MKII Golf and they've been difficult to source a decent set. I've lurked the Vortex and have involved myself in a couple of threads. Apparently, there are group buys for manufacturers who are remaking the rain gutter seals in China. However, they are exclusive to the 4dr Jetta. I've also inquired with a couple of Vortex classified sellers but no luck. Seller either stops responding or the items are too far away and they won't ship. So wondering if anyone here knows of good source for rain gutter seals for the 2dr hatchback MKII Golf?
