Hi guys, I feel I've know some of you for over ten years. For, by far, most of that time, I was working as an Engineer, with no financial worries. Unfortunately, largely due to circumstances beyond my control, I find myself homeless, broke, and in poor health. I have been living in the streets of San Diego, CA for over five weeks now. I am trying to work the system for assistance (Social Security etc.), but everything is a bureaucracy and takes weeks or months, assuming I even qualify.
