In this diagram (useful Bentley content online it seems) it simply says ‘Injection Line’. Part Metal / Part Hose with Banjo bolts on both ends, which is probably why it’s hard to find. Would be good to know if there was a new alternative to the OEM part or if VW Classics carries it. I’ll see what I can dig up.
Seems some people are using adapters to try to use fuel lines from other cars. I asked him about mixing CIS-E and Motronic components, (it's what I've got) he said to get him part numbers of fuel dist., injectors etc and he'll be able to recommend what to use with what. He answered every question I had. You don't repair those lines with hose and clamps. He can get me a used one. Problem solved. Thanks.
