Some great roads that I have traveled are:
Ca rt 74 "Ortega hwy" from Dana pt to lake Elsinore.
In NH the kangamangus hwy either direction 
Hurricane mtn rd from 302 to 113 
In Chicagoland IL rt. 25 from Oswego as far north as it goes. 
Those are just a few I enjoyed.
