I got an email from Rock Auto today about closeout inventory for 1990 vw jetta parts. Lots of stuff available. Oil filters such as wix brand which are highly regarded for quality are only 1.50. I probably shouldn't share the link before I buy some but I think my car is going to go up for sale before I get around to the next oil change :)
