Your results are interesting because I don't see those issues with the maps I am testing. So, please tell me for the examples you sent, what mapsource zoom level are those images shown at (i.e. what is the scale distance in the corner of the image) and also what is the OSM URL for the second location (B18 + railway) because I haven't been able to locate that one.
