[need new home for gmapibuilder] what about on mkgmap.org? While gmapibuilder is useful without mkgmap, it would seem that it's basically used by the Free software garmin community. It's not mine to offer of course....
Assuming the owners of mkgmap.org are amenable, the only downside is the political point of keeping gmapibuilder generic about all garmin maps whether created by mkgmap or otherwise.
