(Selfcomment) This behaviour is well documented, e.g. here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM_Map_On_Garmin/POI_Types But can it be changed? Garmin sorts the shops correctly, so if it were possible to change the "other"s into the correct names it would be great! :-)
