I just did. I also tried recompiling the same map without the patch.
Same size gmapsupp.img (both look fine in QLandkarteGT). The only
difference in the log file (after stripping the timestamps) is the format
of these messages:
WARNING (MultiPolygonRelation): 63240004.osm.gz: Polygon
4611686018427486163(15P : (45329139[15P]) carries role inner but is not inside
any other polygon. Potentially it does not belong to this multipolygon.
The patch replaces the " : (" with ")(", balancing the parenthesis.
